Vex X3M 2 adds real new mechanics to the bike formula: kite gliding lets you soar over gaps that would otherwise be impassable, teleportation portals move you through sections, and floating platforms shift under you as you ride.
Those additions change how levels are read. A gap that looks fatal may be a glide, and a section that looks blocked may have a portal — so the first run through any level is partly reconnaissance.
