PolyTrack is a time-trial racing game in the spirit of Trackmania, shrunk to a browser tab: low-poly cars, tracks full of loops, wall-rides, jumps and boost pads, and a single goal — a faster lap. There are no opponents on the track, just your own ghost from your best run and a leaderboard of times. Kodub released it in 2023 and it has quietly become one of the most-played browser racers around.
The reason it sticks is the track editor. Every track in the game was built with it, and players share their own with a code. The driving is simple to learn — accelerate, steer, brake — and hard to master, because a clean line through a loop at full speed is worth seconds.
Very much — time trials, checkpoints, medals, a ghost car and a block-based track editor. PolyTrack is smaller, runs in the browser, and is free, which is why it is often called 'browser Trackmania'.
Build it in the editor and use the share option to get a code. Anyone can paste the code into their game to load your track and race it.
Yes. It is a 3D game but a light one — low-poly on purpose — and runs well on most Chromebooks. Close other tabs on older models.
