About Smash Karts

Smash Karts is a kart deathmatch. You drive a small kart around a compact arena with up to seven other players, running over weapon boxes and using whatever pops out — rockets, mines, machine guns, a giant hammer — to destroy everyone else. Most kills in the time limit wins.

There's no racing line to learn and no lap to complete, which is the point: it's Mario Kart's battle mode as a standalone browser game, with matches that take two minutes and need no account.

Where the build supports it

1. Join a match — up to eight karts in one arena, no sign-up.
2. Drive over the weapon boxes to pick up a random weapon.
3. Use it on other karts; destroyed karts respawn after a moment.
4. Most kills when the timer expires wins the match.

Smash Karts tips

• Keep moving over boxes. Being unarmed is the only way to lose a fight you started.
• Rockets travel straight — lead a moving target or wait until they turn.
• Mines are best dropped in doorways and on ramps, not in the open.
• Don't chase a fleeing kart across the map; grab a box instead and take the next fight armed.
