About Halloween Pacman

Halloween Pac-Man is the classic maze chase in seasonal dress: the same dots, power pellets and four ghosts, wrapped in a Halloween theme with pumpkins in place of fruit and a darker maze. Bandai Namco and Google have both produced versions over the years, and the format survives the reskin intact because the design is so tight.

If you know Pac-Man you know this: clear every dot, use the four power pellets to turn the ghosts blue, and try not to get cornered in the maze's dead ends.

1. Eat every dot in the maze to clear the level.
2. Four ghosts chase you; eat a power pellet to turn them blue and chase them instead.
3. Pumpkins appear for bonus points.
4. Lose your lives and the game ends; your score is what you cleared.

Halloween Pacman tips

• Save the power pellets until at least two ghosts are nearby.
• Use the side tunnels — ghosts slow down in them and you don't.
• Pre-turn at junctions to keep full speed round corners.
• Clear the awkward dots near the ghost house early, while the ghosts are slower.
