Learn to Fly 2 is about a penguin with a grudge. The first game ended with the penguin failing to fly; the sequel starts with it determined to prove the point, and gives you a ramp, a glider and a shop. Each run launches you down a slope; you glide, boost and crash, earn money for the distance and stunts, and spend it on better wings, rockets, fuel and payloads.
Light Bringer Games released it in 2011 and it defined the launch-upgrade genre alongside Burrito Bison and Hedgehog Launch. Story mode has objectives to complete, Classic mode just wants distance, and Sandbox lets you fit everything at once.
Balance the glider, rockets and fuel rather than maxing one. Keep a shallow angle for lift, burn fuel in a long even push after the ramp, and upgrade fuel capacity early — total burn time matters more than thrust.
Story mode with objectives and a plot, Classic mode for pure distance, and Sandbox where everything is unlocked to experiment with.
