Balls 2048 takes the merging rule from 2048 and gives it physics. Instead of sliding tiles on a grid, you drop numbered balls into a container; balls with the same number that touch combine into their double, and everything settles under gravity afterwards.
That physical settling is what makes it different. A merge low in the pile causes everything above to drop and can set off a chain — which is where the big scores come from, and why where you drop a ball matters more than which ball it is.
Same merging rule — matching numbers combine into their double — but played with physics instead of a grid. Balls fall, settle and roll, so where you drop them matters and merges can chain as the pile resettles.
Merge low in the pile. When two balls combine, everything above drops, which frequently brings other matching pairs into contact and sets off a cascade.
