About Tripeaks Solitaire

TriPeaks is the fastest solitaire there is. Three overlapping pyramids of cards sit above a single open card; you clear the board by taking any exposed card that is one rank higher or lower than that open card, in either direction, with no suits to worry about. Aces wrap around to kings, so the chains keep going.

That single rule is why a game takes two minutes rather than twenty, and why a long chain feels so good — each card you take becomes the new open card, so a well-planned sequence can strip a whole peak in one run. This version has a classic mode plus a hundred levels.

How to play Tripeaks Solitaire

Take a card

Click any exposed card one higher or lower than the open card

Draw

Click the stock pile for a new open card

Tap the card you want

The buttons under the board

1. Look at the open card at the bottom. Any uncovered card in the peaks that is one rank above or below it can be taken.
2. The card you take becomes the new open card, so plan the chain before you start it.
3. If nothing matches, click the stock pile to turn over a new open card — the stock is limited.
4. Clear all three peaks to win the deal; the levels get tighter as you go.

Tripeaks Solitaire tips

• Trace the whole chain in your head before the first click. A chain that ends one card short can strand a peak.
• Break the peaks down evenly rather than clearing one completely — the cards you need are usually under the one you ignored.
• Take the card that uncovers two others over the one that uncovers one.
• Save a stock draw for when you're truly stuck, not to escape a decision.
