About 2v2.io

2v2.io takes Fortnite's build-and-shoot loop and makes it a team sport. You and a partner drop into a small arena against two opponents, with the same four building pieces — wall, ramp, floor, cone — and a handful of weapons. Whoever gets height and cover first usually wins the fight, so the game becomes a race to build.

It runs entirely in the browser with no account, matches take a minute or two, and the building is close enough to Fortnite's that practice carries between them. There's a free-build practice mode for drilling edits without anyone shooting at you.

1. Pick a mode and press play — no sign-up needed.
2. Fight two opponents with a partner. Build to block shots and gain height.
3. Ramp up, wall in front, ramp again is the basic combo for taking high ground.
4. Edit your own builds to open a firing window, shoot, then close it.
5. Eliminate both opponents to win the round.

2v2.io tips

• Take height first and shoot second. From above, almost every exchange goes your way.
• Wall before you heal, always.
• Don't stand in your own open edit; open, fire, reset.
• Practise the ramp-wall-ramp in the build mode until you don't think about the keys.
