About Snowball.io

Snowball.io is a sumo match played with snowballs. You push a growing snowball around a shrinking platform, rolling it through snow to make it larger, and throw it at other players to knock them off the edge. Bigger snowball, harder hit — and the arena keeps shrinking so nobody can hide.

Rounds last a minute or two and there is no account, which is the whole appeal. It has the same shape as every good .io game: one mechanic, immediate stakes, and a scoreboard.

How to play Snowball.io

1. Roll your snowball over snowy ground to grow it.
2. Throw it at other players to knock them toward the edge.
3. Being hit pushes you back — falling off eliminates you.
4. The platform shrinks as the round goes on. Last player standing wins.

Snowball.io tips

• Grow before you fight. A small snowball barely moves anyone.
• Aim at players already near the edge; a medium hit finishes them where a big hit on a central player does nothing.
• After throwing you're defenceless until it regrows — never throw with someone close.
• Stay near the middle as the arena shrinks; being pushed has a much shorter distance to hurt you at the edge.
