Table Tennis is ping pong reduced to what matters: a bat, a ball, a table and an opponent who returns everything until they don't. Rallies are fast, points are short, and the skill is in placement — pushing your opponent to one side and then hitting the other.

- Move your bat to intercept the ball; where you contact it decides the direction.
- Points are scored when your opponent fails to return.
- Play to the target score to win the match.
Table Tennis tips
- Aim away from where your opponent just returned from — placement wins more points than power.
- Meet the ball early rather than letting it come to you; late contact sends it long.
- Vary your pace. Two hard shots followed by a soft one wins the point.
- Return to the centre of your side between shots.

How do you put spin on the ball?
