Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is the last of the classic Neversoft entries and, for many, the peak of the series. The two-minute timer of the earlier games gave way to a free-roaming park where pros hand you challenges, but the heart is unchanged: ollie, grind, manual, flip, and chain it all into a combo long enough to make the score counter meaningless.

This is a browser version rather than the original console release. The trick vocabulary and the combo system are what carry over — the joy is still in linking a grind to a manual to a revert without touching the ground.

1. Skate the park, building speed on ramps and quarter pipes.
2. Ollie into grinds on rails and ledges; land straight to keep the combo alive.
3. Link tricks with manuals and reverts so the combo never breaks.
4. Complete the goals each level sets to progress.
