Bubble Shoot is the straightforward version of the format that has been near the top of casual gaming for two decades. Fire coloured bubbles at the cluster hanging above; three or more of a colour that meet will pop, and anything left unattached falls.
The strategy is entirely in what you aim at. Popping three bubbles is fine; popping the three that were holding up twenty is how the board actually clears.
Pop the bubbles supporting a large hanging section. Anything no longer connected to the ceiling falls, which clears far more than the three you actually matched.
Yes — bubbles bounce off the side walls, which is how you reach gaps at the edges that a straight shot can't get to.
