About Blockpost

Blockpost is a first-person shooter built out of blocks — the obvious comparison is Counter-Strike rendered in Minecraft's art style, and that's close to the truth. There are team deathmatch, free-for-all, bomb-defusal and zombie modes across a large map rotation, with weapon skins and cases to open.

It runs in a browser with no account and no install, and the blocky rendering keeps the frame rate high on modest hardware, which is why it's a fixture on school laptops alongside Krunker.

Blockpost tips

  • Burst-fire at range. Full auto spreads badly past a few metres in almost every weapon here.
  • Crouching tightens your spread noticeably — use it for anything at distance.
  • Learn one or two maps' angles instead of playing the whole rotation badly.
  • Sound matters: footsteps give away position long before you see anyone.

Blockpost — questions

Is Blockpost like Counter-Strike?

Deliberately — the modes, the weapon feel and the bomb-defusal format are all borrowed from it, rendered in a blocky voxel style and running in a browser.

Do I need an account for Blockpost?

No. You can play immediately; an account tracks your level, unlocks and skins.

Does Blockpost work on a school Chromebook?

Yes — it's built to run on low-spec hardware in a browser with nothing to install. It needs a live connection for matches.
