Apple Shooter is the William Tell story as a browser game: a stick figure stands with an apple on his head, you have a bow, and you have to hit the apple. Hit it and he steps further back; miss and the consequences are cartoonishly grim.
The remastered version adds better physics and presentation to the flash original. The tension is real because the margin shrinks every round — by the tenth shot the apple is a few pixels wide and the arrow drops noticeably on the way.
