About Viking

Viking is a duel decided by arcs. Two vikings stand at opposite ends of a snowy scene throwing axes at each other; you click and hold to build power, release to throw, and gravity does the rest. Get the arc right and the axe lands; get it wrong and it thumps into the snow while your opponent lines up their answer.

There are two modes: Single, a survival run against four AI opponents, and Battle, a local two-player duel on the same computer. Rounds take under a minute, and the whole game is one control — which makes it a good pick for handing the keyboard to someone who has never played anything on the site.

  1. Pick Single (four AI opponents in survival) or Battle (two players locally).
  2. Hold to charge the throw — the longer you hold, the further and flatter the axe flies.
  3. Release to throw. Each hit takes a chunk off your opponent's health bar.
  4. Empty their bar to win the duel.

Viking tips

  • Watch where your last axe landed and adjust in small increments — the power scale is finer than it feels.
  • Short of the target means more power; over the top means less, not a different angle.
  • In Battle mode, deliberately miss short once to learn the range, then commit.
  • The AI in Single mode gets more accurate each round, so finish opponents fast rather than trading throws.

Viking — questions

How do you play Viking?

Click and hold to charge your throw, then release. The axe flies in an arc, so the power you choose sets both distance and height. Land hits until the opponent's health bar is empty.

Can two people play Viking?

Yes — the Battle mode is a local two-player duel on the same computer. Single mode pits you against four AI opponents in survival.

Does Viking work on a phone?

Yes. Tap and hold to charge, release to throw. It runs in any browser with nothing to install.
