About Clown Nights

Clown Nights is a survival horror game in the Five Nights at Freddy's mould, set in a circus. You watch camera feeds, manage limited power, and shut doors when something is close — and the whole game is the tension between checking too often and not often enough.

The clown theme does a lot of work. The format's tension comes from what you can't see, and a circus is a good place not to be able to see things.

3. Every action drains power; run out and you're defenceless.
4. Survive until morning to complete the night.

• Use the lights rather than the cameras for immediate checks — they cost less power.
• Don't hold doors closed; check, close, reopen.
• Learn which camera the threat uses to approach and watch that one.
• If power is nearly gone, sit still and stop checking.
