About Slime

Slime is a physics toy built around one idea: your character is a soft, sticky blob. Pull back to stretch it like a catapult and release to launch, then let it splat, wobble and cling to whatever it lands on. The levels are climbs — the goal is up, and the route is whatever surfaces you can stick to on the way.

It plays a bit like a gentler Getting Over It: there's no punishment for a bad launch beyond falling back to a ledge you already passed, and the satisfaction is in the wobble as much as in the progress.

  1. Drag away from the direction you want to travel — the further you pull, the harder the launch.
  2. Release to fling the slime; it sticks briefly wherever it lands.
  3. Chain launches to climb; walls and ceilings are all valid landing spots.
  4. Reach the top of the level to finish.

Slime tips

  • Short controlled hops beat one big launch. Momentum you can't aim is momentum wasted.
  • Launch off a wall at an angle rather than straight up — the slime keeps sideways speed.
  • Wait for the wobble to settle before the next pull; launching mid-wobble sends you somewhere unplanned.
  • If you're stuck under an overhang, launch down first to get a clean angle.

Slime — questions

How do you control the slime?

Click and drag backwards, like pulling a catapult, then release to launch in the opposite direction. Pull distance sets the power.

Is Slime hard?

It is fiddly rather than punishing — falling costs progress but never ends the game, so it suits a patient session more than a quick one.

Does Slime work on a phone?

Yes — drag and release with a finger. It runs in the browser with nothing to install.
