Happy Wheels is a physics game about ragdolls on wheels making bad decisions. You pick a character — the businessman on a Segway, the dad and son on a bike, the wheelchair with a rocket — and steer through a hand-built obstacle course of spikes, harpoons, wrecking balls and land mines, losing limbs along the way. Jim Bonacci released it in 2010 and it became the internet's favourite way to laugh at cartoon injury.
The original ran on Flash and had millions of user-made levels; the browser version here is a rebuilt selection of the classic levels with the same physics, characters and controls. Levels are short, deaths are instant and hilarious, and the goal is simply to reach the exit in one piece — or in as many pieces as it takes.
Yes. Flash ended in 2020, and this page runs a rebuilt browser version of the classic levels with the original physics and characters. The full level editor and the millions of user levels from the Flash era are not part of it.
The Segway businessman is fastest on flat levels; the wheelchair's rocket handles gaps and climbs; the bike is the most controllable in the air. Most levels are designed around one rider, so try another if you keep dying.
Yes — it runs in the browser with nothing to install and uses only the arrow keys, space and Z. It runs smoothly on any Chromebook.
