About Spider Dude Parkour

Spider Dude Parkour is a web-swinging traversal game: you shoot a line at a building, swing from it, release at the right moment and fly across the gap to the next anchor point. The city is the level, and momentum is everything.

It's the same physics idea as Stickman Hook scaled up into three dimensions with an urban setting — release too early and you go up rather than along, release too late and you swing back the way you came.

  1. Aim at a building and hold to attach a web.
  2. Swing on it, then release at the bottom of the arc for maximum distance.
  3. Chain swings across the city to reach objectives or race checkpoints.
  4. Falling to the ground costs time rather than ending the run in most modes.

Spider Dude Parkour tips

  • Release at the lowest point of the swing — that's where your speed is highest and pointing forward.
  • Attach ahead of you, not above you; a web straight up just stops your momentum.
  • Let a bad swing complete rather than fighting it.
  • Height is speed. Climbing between swings gives you a longer arc on the next one.

Spider Dude Parkour — questions

How do you swing further?

Attach to a point ahead of you rather than overhead, and release at the bottom of the arc where your speed is greatest and directed forward.

Is there a goal?

Depending on the mode, there are checkpoints and objectives to reach, but free traversal around the city is most of the appeal.

Does it work on a Chromebook?

Yes — it's a 3D game that runs in the browser with nothing to install; close other tabs on older hardware.
