About Draw to Smash

Draw to Smash is a physics puzzle where your only tool is a pencil. Each level has bad eggs sitting somewhere awkward; you draw a line, shape or scribble in the white box, it drops into the level as a solid object, and gravity decides whether your idea works. Smash every bad egg to clear the level — and don't hit the good ones.

The satisfaction is in the economy: nearly every level has a small, simple solution, and the elaborate contraption you first imagined is usually not it. It's a thinking game disguised as a doodling one.

1. Look at where the eggs are and what's holding them up.
2. Draw a shape in the white area; releasing drops it into the level as a real object.
3. Use weight, ramps and levers to crush or topple the bad eggs.
4. Smash all of them — while protecting anything the level marks as off-limits — to win.

Draw to Smash tips

• Draw heavy and small. A compact blob has more mass than a long thin line and does more damage.
• Look for the domino: most levels are solved by tipping one thing onto another rather than hitting the egg directly.
• A ramp above an egg is often better than a weight; the object gains speed on the way down.
• If nothing works, restart and look at what's already in the level that could move.
